The holy month of Ramadhan is approaching. Again, it is time to gather with the loves one, friends and family during break fast time to enjoy a myriad of good food. This year, Silka Hotel Maytower Hotel & Serviced Recidences invites all foodies, epicureans and gastronome to join their Buka Puasa buffet at La Maison.
Themed as “Juadah Tradisi Kampung”, this festive buffet dinner offers wide spread of more than 100 types of dishes cover from mouth watering appetizers to tantalizing main courses and sweet desserts.
The buffet is available from 30th June to 27th July 2014 from 6.30pm onwards, priced at RM78++ per adult, RM30++ per child and Senior citizens get to enjoy the meal at 50% off the adult rate. For early bird purchase between 2nd June 2014 till 29th June 2014, the buffet price set for adult is only RM58nett. Definitely one of the most reasonably priced Ramadhan buffet around the town.
Start the meal with appetite openers such as Acar Rampai, Kerabu Udang Pucuck Pegaga,Telur Masin, Kerabu Kerang,Kerabu Telur,Acar Buah, Kerabu Perut Taughe,Acar Jelatah,Kerabu Sotong Timur,Kerabu Ayam Dara, and more.
Continue with hot main dishes such as Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Udang Sambal Petai, Sotong Masak Hitam, Ikan Goreng and Kepala Ikan, where all of them are thickly drenched in taste bud tickling gravy, goes well with white rice.
Apart from that, Daging Masak Briyani, Ayam Masak Briyani, Bubur Lambok, Sup Tulang Rawan are the must have for Buka Puasa.
Kambing Bakar Ala Percik with Sauce Percik proves to be the highlight of the day.
Have some grilled fish? Yes, of course. We like how the fish is smothered with spicy sauce and wrapped in banana leaves, lending a faint hint of the leaves’ aroma after grilled. Also available at the grilled section are Otak-otak and satay. Satay is worth checking out, but the otak-otak leaves a large room of improvement.
Hop over to “mamak” corner that offers Roti John- the well know toasted bread layered with egg, vegetables and sauces; fluffy Roti Canai; Murtabak- chicken, egg and onion wrapped within roti canai.
Noodles corner is ready with two pots of curry laksa and assam laksa soup, together with noodles and condiments like chicken, tauhu, egg, shredded cucumber, onions, chilli and more. Assam laksa is good at a right sourness, better with a spoonful of shrimp paste.
Dessert covers mostly local Nyanya kueh, dates, dodol, ice cream and ice kacang. Varieties aren’t extensive but sufficient to pair with the “Juadah Tradisi Kampung” theme.
Don’t wait, book now to enjoy early bird discount at RM58nett. Call +603-26929298, ext.8094 or email info.maytower@silkahotels.com for reservation.
