Located at 34th floor of Pacific Regency Hotel, Cristallo di Luna is one the the earliest hotel restaurants in KL that offers a full view of this bustling city. In fact, the Luna Bar which is located outside of the restaurant, is the first pool bar in KL, proudly reaching 10 years anniversary this year.
The whole restaurant boasts an elegant interior, featuring black and white as the theme colour. Crystal drop chandeliers are gracisouly hang from the ceiling, coupled with soft hue light to create a calm, cozy ambience. Definitely a great place for party, gathering, proposal or even intimate dining.
Diners can choose to sit by the windows, overlooking the hustle and bustle of city while dining in comfort. The view at night is especially stunning, when all buildings are brightly lit up, transforming the city into a colourful scene.
Caesar Salad with Smoked Chicken Breast (RM20++)
Apart from the breathtaking view, offerings here are not shadowed too. Start the meal with Caesar Salad with Smoked Chicken Breast, a healthy starter that combines myriad of flavours and nutrients in one plates including romaine lettuce, anchovies, parmesan cheese, croutons, honey tomato and topped over with smoked chicken breast. Dressing is at minimal, lifting up the overall flavour through its tangy sensation.
Chef’s House Special (RM34++)
Chef’s House Special is served in aglio olio style, slightly modified by having chopped capsicums lightly tossed with spaghetti cooked to al-dente. Salmon chunks are generously loaded, giving us an illusion at once that the amount of salmon is more than the noodles. But this all doesn’t matter as all these ingredients are compiled into a great, flavourful plate of spaghetti.
Chicken Cordon Bleu (RM30++)
Can’t remember when was the last time we had Chicken Cordon Bleu, but the melting cheese oozing out from the center of the meat was so memorable. Cristallo in Pacific Regency manages to present a classic Cordon Bleu, having chicken ham and cheese rolled in chicken breast, breaded and deep fried to golden brown. Crispy outside, tender inside but fall short for cheesy oomph.
Black Angus Prime Cut Tenderloin (RM70++)
This Black Angus Prime Cut Tenderloin grabbed the crowd attention with its succulent, juicy meat that renders a smoky touch. Served along with garden green vegetables and potato skin for a complete main course.
Pan Fried Salmon (RM36++)
Fish lover can have a choice of baked cod fish, pan fried salmon or pan fried seabass from the menu. Our order of Pan Fried Salmon is good, beautifully pan fried to a thin salty exterior, locking juiciness within and garnished with crispy almond flakes for extra texture. Pair the fish with almond butter cream sauce that adds on a smooth, buttery taste.
Warm Apple Crumble (RM20++)
End the meal with sweet note by having delectable dessert from the dessert menu. Warm Apple Crumble, Cheese Cake, Bread and Butter Pudding, Fruit Cocktail Puff are the varieties available. Warm Apple Crumble here goes a crunchy path for its tart, with cinammon sweet baked apple nestled under the flaky, crumbly biscuit.
