That Latte Place, one of the latest coffee places to look for in Ampang, replacing the Artisan Roast in Pusat Seni Budaya. It is a quaint little place to lay back, have a cuppa, enjoying their good pancake or egg benedict with a book in hand. Opened environment, come early to get some windy breeze, else bear with the hot weather.
Business was at brisk during our visit last Saturday morning. Expected some wait as there’s only total of three persons busily placing order, preparing food, serving order, and collecting bills at the same time. Condition understood, so we waited patiently.
Flat white (RM7.00)
Cappuccino (RM8.00)
Fluffy bun layered with chicken ham slices, mushrooms, egg and topped over with Hollandaise sauce. Sided with fresh greens.
Waiting time for our egg Benedict was quite long to be frank, but doesn’t matter any more when we had the yellowish egg yolk oozing out once cutting through the egg. While the boy love the egg , the girl like the homemade Hollandaise sauce, creamy, savoury, a good pairing to the entire dish which will turn pale without it.
Red Velvet Cake
It is breakfast time but the dessert loving girl skipped her favourite pan cake and ordered herself a red velvet cake. Moist and airy, the bight coloured cake faired averagely but the medium sweet extra creamy frosting was so so good. The girl had been eyeing on the peanut butter frosting chocolate cake, but too full for another one. Will get it next time.
