Or go healthy by choosing Daun Kadok, Daun Selom, Ulam Raja, Paku Rawan, Kerdas, Petai, Jering, Kacang Botol, Peria Rebus, Pucuk Ubi Rebus, Timun, Tomato, Nangka Rebus, etc. from the Ulam Station.
Moving on to the Kofuku stall, diners will have choices of sushi and maki rolls creatively stuffed with sambal ikan bilis, rendang and serunding, giving a fusion twist of Japanese and Local. Adjacent to the counter, various types of Yong Tau Fu ingredients such as bitter gourd, bean curd sheet, brinjal stuffed with fishpaste, meatballs, fishball, are available.
Sup Gear Box ‘Power’ is one of the must have in this buffet. Served with beef spare parts, Benggali breads and condiments, this hearty, nourishing bowl of soup is definitely worth a try.
‘Hot From The Oven’ stall offers few selections of pizza, fresh from the oven. Diners can have a choice of serunding, pepperoni, spicy sambal to top over the dough, and generously sprinkled with cheese.
For hot dishes, look for wide choices of Bubur Lambuk, Sambal Udang Petai, Perut Lembu Masak Lemak Rebung, Masak Lemak Pucuk Paku Manis with Keledek, Korean Mussel Cooked in Spicy Chilli Paste, Kari Kepala Ikan. Bubuk Lambuk serves as the highlights, as this traditional Malaysian style porridge is prepared following the most authentic and original recipe. Healthy and nutritious.
For the Bakar-Bakar Corner, fill your cravings on charcoal grilled items such as Ikan Kembung, Pari, Tenggiri, Squid, Kerang and condiments. Besides the normal seafood grill, the hotel also generously offers a whole marinated roasted lamb for diners to go with the buffet.
The list continues. Daging Rendang, Paru Rendang and Acar bring some spiciness to the palate, while Nasi Gunting, Nasi Briyani Gam, Fried Kuey Teow, Mee Mamak and Mee Rebus provides more carbs. Mee Rebus may be filling, but worth ordering a small bowl to taste on. You won’t be regret on the mild spicy, rich and creamy broth. The Sambal Sotong which tag along with the Mee Rebus is just awesome!
Coming to desserts, diners will be spoilt with long spread of sweet treats – Pengat Pisang, Bubur Kacang Merah from the Bubur Manis Station; Mini Mango Cheese, Mini Black Forest, Lemon Meringue from Cake Counter; Tepung Talam, Kuih Sago Mata Ikan, Putu Mayam, Onde-onde, kuih Koci, Seri Muka, Kuih Talam from Aneka Kuih Melayu; fruits and marshmello with Chocolate Fountain, more than enough to fill your desserts craves. The Ramadhan Buffet is available from 14th July until 3rd August 2013 at Pacific Ballroom. Priced from RM80 nett per adult, diners get to enjoy great food and serenade by live musicians known as ‘LOS LABAMBA’, a four piece band all the way from Indonesia.
