The Buzz Cafe at Premiere Hotel, is another ideal place to dine in whenever you don’t feel like having Bak Kut Teh for lunch. Located in the vibrant commercial district of Bandar Bukit Tinggi Klang, The Buzz cafe has been a strategic haunt for local residents, business during rush hour, or during a lazy weekend since the year of 2010.
Now, after a refurbishment and with new Executive Chef William Teo, The Buzz is more confident to offer much more to diners in a spacious dining area that can in accommodate up to 160 diners at a time, perfect place for small parties and gatherings. Other than ala carte, The Buzz also offers a range of buffet lines during lunch in an affordable price.
We were there last Saturday to try out their buffet, started off with cold dish. Not sure which one to choose as every starter was nicely decorated, delicate yet colourful.
After the starter, we continued to fill the stomach with mains such as Tandoori Chicken, sausage in onion brown sauce, dim sum, fried carrot cake with bean sprout, roasted lamb, crumbed fish fillet with tartar sauce, seafood mee hoon, nasi goreng ayam, chicken porridge, pizza, satay, etc.
Surprisingly, among all, we like the Nasi Goreng Ayam the most. As we usually don’t care much on rice and noodles in buffet, The Buzz’s version was decent enough for us to highlight- Fluffy with wok hei and lots of flavourful shredded chicken. Sausages in onion brown sauce was good too, but the fried carrot was rather pale, too soft in texture.
There’s also another section that we loved. The spaghetti section. They have few types of pastas and ingredients to choose from, just tell the chef whether you want to have bolognese, aglio olio or carbonara. Wait for few minutes and you get your plate of pretty nice al dente pasta. We had the aglio olio with extra spiciness and bolognese meat sauce, both were good.
We still had place in stomach after all mains, so we moved on to desserts section. A sweet treat feast.
Bread pudding, jelly, mango pudding, chocolate cake, vanilla cake, blueberry cheese mousse, cendol pudding, local Nyonya Kuih, ice kacang, ice cream. We enjoyed the blueberry cheese the most. Chocolate cake was nice too, very rich, dense and chocolaty.
Weather is hot, so remember to fill your plates with five colours of fresh fruits to end the meal.
