Located in a newly developed area in Puchong, Yu Shifu is another restaurant in which is worth discovered, with tilapia fish as signature dish. It used to be in Puchong Jaya, but now shifted to this new area at Jalan Puteri 4/9, Bandar Puteri. Settings of the restaurant is simple and ideal for family dining, and they have many other delicious dishes other than just tilapia fish. So no worries if you are not a fan of fish.
Golden Pumpkin with Barley
Highly recommended by the owner. Not too sweet and rather thick in consistency with visible bite texture of blended pumpkin laid within, it can almost fall under the category of sweet soup rather than drinks.

Deep fried and then flooded with minced meat brown gravy, this classic dish with soft texture is always ranked as our favourite.
Signature Sea Tilapia 招牌蒸金凰鱼 (RM16 onwards)
As most tilapia fish are grown in freshwater, Yu Shifu is proud to tell that their tilapia fish is grown in seawater, which promotes better quality with less muddy taste. Brought from Sungai Besar every two days, diners don’t have to worry on the freshness.
Signature Sea Tilapia with Chillies 招牌蒸金凰鱼(辣)
For ten of us, the portion may be too small but we are glad that they have do serve fish in small portion to cater small group. So we don’t have to worry when we come back the next time in two, as we can enjoy fresh fish without having to waste.
We tried out the original flavour as well as spicy one. Both were soft and fresh with a touch of wine to bring up the flavour.
Mix Beans With Sambal 四大天王

A plate of mixed eggplant, French beans, long beans stirred fried with Sambal. Crunchy vege texture, robust flavour.
Kangkung with Sambal 马来风光

Another dish from the vegetable list that was stir fried with Sambal. We always admire the creation of Sambal, as a simple ingredient can be easily turned a fantastic dish with added of Sambal. This Kangkung with Sambal, known by many, is one of them. Lovely, flavour laden.

The spicy feast continued, with fiery Kung Po Squid served as the next dish.
Fried Eggs With Bitterguord 苦瓜炒蛋

Finally, something mild to toned down the spiciness. Fried eggs with Bitterguord, a homey flavour with the light bitterness of bitterguord with eggy fragrance came along.
