Vault, a new Western dining restaurant in Glomac Damansara is yet another place worth discover. Opened in the month of November last year, this non-halal restaurant serves different choices of saliva dropping pork dishes in their entrees and mains.
Two floors, high ceilings, hue light, wooden concept, Vault is spacious, cozy and ideal as chill out place after a whole day work.
Also, with wines from all over the worlds lining up on shelves, wine lovers may find your love here.
Arugula Salad (RM16.00)
A plate of gaily coloured salad, packed with fresh rocket salad, juicy honey tomatoes, crouton and dressed with aged balsamic dressings and cheese. Balsamic and salty cheese make good companion with the rocket leave, but we guess we still need some time to love the mild peppery and bitter flavour of arugula.
Ceasar Salad ( RM18.00)
Reach for another plate of fiber, ceasar salad which comprises crispy romain tossed with anchovy dressing, parmigiano, crouton, bacon bits and grilled chicken. Grilled chicken is done at best, for it promotes tenderness and juiciness though it is grilled from chicken breast.
Roasted Pork Belly (RM16.00)
One of the favourite dishes that disappeared fast on table that night. Looked like one of the typical dishes mummy will do at home- stir-frying left over roasted pork with dark soy sauce. But this one seriously tasted much much more nicer. Every munch was a flavour packed fatty and lean meat, oomph added with stir-fried-till-fragrance garlic bits and soy sauce that coated the meat nicely. Sinfully delicious.
Escargot – 1/2 dozen (RM20)
Tender meat in shells, smoothered with garlic and butter. We like the garlicy, creamy, and cheesy sauce, almost polish the plate clean.
Crispy Calamari (RM14.00)
Loved this crunchy, tiny size, deep fried calamari. Couldn’t stop ourselves from forking one after another one, great finger food with beer too.
Aglio Olio (RM18.00)
Classic with only garlic, chili flakes and olive oil playing as main ingredients, Vault manage to get their aglio olio done well, al dente with enough spiciness, crisp and garlicky flavour. If you found it too simple, add on with chicken (RM5), squid (RM6), prawn (RM6) and seafood (RM8) to make your meal more lavish.
Seafood Marinara (RM28.00)
Check out the ample amount of sauteed mixed seafood laden on top of the pasta, this pasta worth every penny you paid. Spaghetti was good, generously coated with basil tomato base.
Iberico Pork Steak 250g (RM58.00)
We were lucky enough to try out Iberico Pork Steak, Vault’s signature’s dish and also a seasonal dish imported from Europe. Lightly seasoned, pan fried and grilled, the pork steak still remain juicy, smoky and porky-licious, just the way it should be. The boy loved the creamy buttery sided mashed potato though.
Mix Sausage Platter (RM38.00)
Vault offers five types of sausages- Italian sausage, spicy Hungarian sausage, Chorizo sausage, and German pepper sausage, all made freshly to ensure freshness and authentic flavours. Comes in two sausages per plate from RM26 till RM29 when you choosing only one flavour, so why not order the Mix Sausage Platter? You get to share with friends and savour all different flavours.
