The Chef.
Outback Nachos (RM23.95)
Crispy corn tortilla chops topped with melted cheese sauce, sauteed lean ground beef, diced tomatoes, olives, jalapenos and sour cream. A good order for sharing while for mains, or just merely as snack to go with some beer.
Alice Springs Chicken Quesadilla (Full-RM26.95, Half-RM17.95)
Tortilla is crisp as it is freshly grilled and served piping hot, with the sandwiching cheese still in the gooey melting stage, and bursting with flavors when coupling with the tender chicken breast, sauté mushrooms and beef bacons. One can add a touch of honey mustard sauce but the quesadilla is delicious enough to be eaten alone.
Ahi Tuna Chopped Salad (RM26.95)
A little kick, a lot of flavour! A salad that has fresh iceberg and spring mix lettuce and cucumbers and crispy wontons tossed in wasabi vinaigrette, a homemade salad dressing that gives you a tangy richness. It is then topped with sashimi style, Ahi tuna that is seasoned with salt and pepper and lightly pan-seared. The salad is bright and fresh in flavors, just the right choice for those who wants a wholesome and light dish.
Boomin’ Steak Sandwich (RM24.95)
A massive burger layering with tender strips of Sorloin, sauteed balsamic glazed onions, melted cheese, tomato and furnished off with Typhoon Bloom Petals, which is their signature hand-carved onion ring. The burger is accompanied with Aussie fries and tomato mayonnaise.
Ribs &Alice Spring Chicken (RM64.95)
Flavors locked from the red hot grill and brushed with BBQ sauce, the half rack beef ribs is smoky, saucy and easily fall off the bone, exactly how a beef rib should be. The Alice Spring Chicken with flame-grilled chicken is nicely done too, and the crisp beef bacon, sauteed mushrooms and half melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar Portion topping the chicken add an extra flavors and cheezy kicks. Portion is huge and recommended for two persons sharing.
Steak and Shrimp (RM59.95)
Lightly seasoned with spices and grilled to prefection, the 6oz signature sirloin is incredibly juicy, tender, bursting with bold and beefy flavor, and the pairing grilled shrimp over fresh tomatoes and basil doesn’t loose its shine over the excellent steak, as it is fresh and succulent too. The mains is served with homemade remoulade sauce and choice of two freshly made sides.
Sided Mashed Potato
Toowooba Topped Fillet (RM69.95)
Seasoned and seared thick cut fillet topped with tomato cream sauce that is tossed with sauteed shrimp and buttoon mushrooms . Served with fresh seasonal veggies.
Chicken and Rib Combo (RM54.95)
Another combo having 1/2 rack of savory beef ribs and grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce, sided with Aussie fries. Again, the beef ribs is easily fall-off-the bone and the chicken breast is surprisingly not dry and tough.
Grilled Salmon (RM38.95)
If you fancy something from the sea, grilled salmon is something you shouldn’t miss out. Seasoned boneless salmon fillet grilled to perfection and served with fresh seasonal veggies and rice pilaf. For the taste, freshness and sizeable portion, Outback’s grilled salmon is really worth the price, as many restaurants will be giving you a miserable piece of salmon fillet at this price.
After the fulfilling mains, ends your meal with Dessert Sampler Trio, which features the three most popular desserts in Outback Steakhouse- The Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, Cheesecake and Banana Nutcake.Though it is served in a smaller portion comparing to their individual order, it is not mini at all. So it is good to order for sharing if you don’t want to overstuffed yourself.
The Banana Nutcake is a combination of banana, toffee, but, cinnamon, and topped with vanilla ice cream and cream, showered with caramel and chocolate sauce.
The Cheesecake is dense, creamy and not too sweet, definitely a wonderful dessert that will make you dance but at the same time, kills your diet plan.
The Chocolate Thunder from Down Under has a freshly baked pecan chocolate brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with classic warm chocolate sauce, finally crowned with a scoop whipped cream.
