It is quite irritating when everyone is talking about The End of The World after the great earthquake and Tsunami in Japan which following the earthquake at China and New Zealand. It is undeniable that all these earthquake are happening tightly apart from one another, but I would say that people are overly discuss on the End of The World issue.
Even my girl has joined in the the queue and she funnily ask me yesterday night: “Since the end of the world is coming, can I have my macaroons before I die? “ >__<
Of course I will say YES and I managed to give her a small surprise. She was at hometown when she requesting for the food-I-want-before-I-die while I will be fetching her at Bukit Jalil bus station this Sunday afternoon. After having my breakfast in the morning, I went to Levain Boulangerie Patisserie and bought her five Macaroons.. but I didn’t tell her that.
There were many people at Levain and a long queue at the counter. I found that many of the macaroons flavors was sold out when reaching my turn. But nevermind, I still managed to get a few nice flavors.
From the left : MACHA ( Green Tea), RED BEAN, FRAMBOISE ( Rasberry) , JASMINE, GHANA DARK CHOCOLATE
I really cant stop taking photos of them… hee…
They were so colourful and lovely. Even the packaging box is cute. But I would said that there are lots of colouring in them. My girl “proudly” showed me her green colour tongue after eating the green tea flavor macaroon..zzz.
They tasted not bad, the shell is crispy outside and fluffy inside, the filling are nice too, but they are really really sweet. The first thing that flashed across my mine after having the first bite was: “I’ll get diabetes very soon.” Even my girl who is having sweet tooth felt that they were overly sweet.
However, this is the first time I had macaroon, I wasn’t sure whether all macaroons are that sweet or they are suppose to be that sweet? I believe that there are many nicer macarons out there, I will give a taste on them one day and come back and make a comparison.
