Yeehooo!! We went to Daorae Korean BBQ restaurant at Puchong today. It was a nice experience and we loved the food there.
We ordered a portion of BBQ pork rib, a portion of BBQ chicken and a bowl of Soondubu jjigae( tofu stew).
Seaweed soup. It was served to us right after we sat down. Nice service.
My girl got really happy when she saw so many types of banchan was served on the table. She like the fried tofu (lower right corner) and vege ( lower left corner) the most. Wonder why girls always like to have small small thing to nibble on. I was only interested with the big fat piece of meat in the center. >__<
The meat was pre-marinated and was on-the-grilled. I like the way that Daorae use charcoal as the heating base instead of gas-stove because I always believe that food that is cooked using charcoal has a better taste.
The meat was sizzling and my saliva was dropping. Couldn’t wait to taste it.
BBQ pork. Perfectly marinated, succulent, tender, meaty. It was O-M-G so tasty.
Pre-marinated chicken on the grilled.
BBQ chicken. This was very nice too but not as nice as the BBQ pork. Also delicately grilled, it didn’t lose its juiciness.
Soondubu jjigae.
This was really appetizing and my girl said that it tasted much much more nicer than the one she had in Kimchiharu. Full with tofu, pork belly, clams, egg, and vege..and the soup was rich and spicy. She smiled happily when she get to dig some abalone mushroom. A true mushroom lover..zzz..
The rice that came together with tofu stew. It was very nice different from the one rice we usually ate. A bit more sticky and brevitype.
The dinner cost more than RM70 for two person. I woudn’t say it was cheap but it was reasonable considering the portion of meat and the tofu tofu stew, plus free refill banchan and seaweed soup. And most important is, the food there was awesome, despite the high price, I will definitely back again for other food.
