Last night, my girl showed me a food blog review on a vegetarian restaurant called MY Vegetarian Restaurant. I was surprised when looked at the address, it was at Equine Park! How come I never noticed it? “I pointed at that shop to you before while we were there, you must be forgot about it”. Well, I guess I need to take some chinese herbal medicine to improve my memory. Haha.. So, here are we tonight!
So, this was the restaurant. It was at the same row with the mini mart. I really could not remember what my girl said before, but that was not important now. Lets go in!
The ambience was surprisingly nice and clean, with green and white combination of furnitures.
The service was fast and efficient. Once we sat down, the waitress immediately came and served us. And most importantly, we don’t have to wait long for our food to reach.
Menu for dinner tonight.
They do have vegetarian dim sum menu. Hmm…Perhaps we could have our breakfast here next time.
Rulo Noodle Soup. (RM4.00)
The soup tasted like chinese herbal soup but somehow it was lack in flavour. The rulo (鲁肉)topping the noodles was chewy and flavourful. Spaghetti was used to replace the normal “yellow noodle”. Creative combination.
Overall, the ru lo noodle soup was average. I really wonder why they used such small bowl to put in the noodle when the portion of the spaghetti was quite big.
Gulo yok. (RM9.00)
This dish was different from what I had in other vegetarian restaurant. The gravy was appetizing, the “meat” was still chewy but less “meaty” compare to those I eaten before. First bite made me feel like I was eating fish ball. Or in other way, I thought I was eating yong tau foo that moment.
Tom Yam Fried Rice. (RM6.00)
My girl loved the LOVE shape so much. It was so cute! At first I thought the fried rice would be tasteless, but i’m totally wrong. It was full of “wok hei” smell and very delicious. You could even found some vege ‘char siew’ and vege ‘siew yok’ in it. Thumbs up!
My girl done a little modification on the rice. Tadaaa! With two eyes and one mouth. Haha! Maybe we could proposed this to the shop and helped them made the dish more cute.
We really enjoyed our dinner tonight. All the dish was at a reasonable price and delicious too. We would come back here again to try out other dish.
