Haagan Daz is famous for their premium ice cream but is pricey at the same time. The price sometimes really stop us from trying it and we can only eye on the outlet everytime we pass by but never buy one and try. We came across Haagan Dazs Chocolate Fondue in many food blogs but the price really made us think twice, think thrice, think over and over again until one day we “beh tahan” hence we told each other that: ” At least try once.”
Tadaa…Our chocolate fondue!
Banana, strawberries,apples, mash mallows, chocolate cookies, cubed cakes and most imporatantly scoops of Haagen Dazs ice cream! The portion was way too much for two persons sharing( * Well this was the first thought). You can dipped the fruits, cookies and even ice cream into the warmed chocolate fondue. Thumbs up!
Warm chocolate sauce. Love it and it was wonderful! Rich and sweet…tasted heavenly when dipping with the fruits and sweet bites along side, not forgettable the ice creams. One by one we dip them in the sauce, and we were happier than a little girl getting her huggable dolls. Well, and we are wrong, no, we will never have enough of it though it was in big protion for two, never enough for sweet tooth.

There is a small round candle being light up and put below the melted chocolate pot to keep the chocolate from congeal. But I didn’t really see its effect as it is so small and dim..haha. Halfway we enjoying the fondue, the melted chocolate had started turning back to solid. Hmm, maybe double boiled bowl will be better? But who minds about the small flaw when getting to taste the fondue is already heaven?
I don’t really remember the price of the fondue but it should be around RM60++. For all the sweet tooths out there, still I will say the same thing , ” At least try one”.. and more ” You’ll never regret trying it”, else you will really regret.
