Ramen Ten is the first Japanese Restaurant chain in Singapore to be awarded with Halal Certificate by Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). The group also establishes Shin Tokyo Sushi in 2008, a restaurant in Halal sushi concept, having freshly-made sushi served on conveyor belts.
The first Ramen Ten is introduced to Malaysia in 2013, located in Jaya 33 Petaling Jaya (beside Vintry Ribs). The restaurant shares the same dining area with Shin Tokyo Sushi, hence diners can enjoy both ramen, sushi and wide variety of Japanese delicacies under one roof.
Santen Sashimi Moriawase RM33.90
Ramen Ten has recently revamped their menu, introducing an extensive selection of appetizer, salad, sashimi, handroll sushi, sushi nigiri, agemono, yakimono, teppanyaki, donburi, ramen, don set, teishoku to suit the palate of different diners. A thorough change from the previous menu which mainly focused on ramen.
Gyoza RM10.90
Begin with Chuka-style appetizers like Chuka Kurage (Seasoned Jellyfish) , Chuka Wakame (Marinated Seaweed), Chuka Sazae (Seasoned Shellfish) prepared using Chinese-Japanese flavourings and methods; or homemade gyoza and Chawanmushi.
Tuna Mayo Roll RM16.90
Continued with Tuna Mayo Roll, rolling Japanese cucumber, tamago within sushi rice, further spread with fish roes at the outside and topped with creamy mayo tuna. Combinations are good, but better if the sushi rice could be less denser.
Soft Shell Crab To Salmon Skin Salad RM23.90
One of the highly recommended dishes in Ramen Ten. Plenty of refreshing, crispy texture from green lettuce, honey tomato, salmon skin, fish roe. Tossed with sesame sauce made in house for a touch of creaminess, mingled with intense sesame aroma. For us, we enjoy the whole deep-fried soft shell crab and Ni Tamgo the most.
Yasai Tempura
Corn Butter RM9.90
Ahh…this is delicious. Never expect to have Corn Butter in Ramen Ten. It remind us the good-old-days where mum used to separate corns bit by bit from corn cobs, steamed them then dropped dollop of butter to mix with the corn. Love the sweetness of corn coated with buttery goodness. Simplicity is the best.
Asari Butter Soup RM11.90
Our first time trying Asari Butter Soup. The broth wasn’t love at the first “sip” but we gradually grow fond on it as we had more. Tastes pretty much like our Chinese Xiong Tong La La, but infused with flavours of butter.
Chicken Teriyaki Dry Ramen RM16.90
If soup ramen is too mainstream for you, try Ramen Ten Dry Ramen. Noodles are mixed with dark coloured sauce, topped with your choice of meat such as Chicken Teriyaki, Black Pepper Beef, Spicy Salmon, Honey Cicken Karaage. Our Chicken Teriyaki Dry Ramen is rather pale, but still fine as it is balanced up by the sticky sweet Teriyaki sauce.
Tomyum Chicken Katsu Ramen RM22.05
Tomyum Chicken Katsu Ramen – Japanese favourite with a twist of Thai flavours! Ramen Ten is prides for their Tom Yum soup base. In fact, it is one of the best sellers in the restaurant. The soup itself is exceptionally spicy, fiery hot but addictive, pairing well with their chewy, springy ramen.
Deluxe Combo Set RM28.90
Combo Set in Ramen Ten is reasonably priced, ranging below RM50. Our Deluxe Combo Set which put together Chawanmushi, tempura moriawase, salmon sashimi, green salad, fruits, fried garlic rice, temaki and udon is only RM28.90. Definitely enough to fill a hungry stomach. Other choices include Saba Shioyaki/Teriyaki Set, Udon Sushi Set, Salmon to Agedashi Tofu Set, Unagi Kabayaki Set, and Beef Shogayaki Set.
Ramen Ten serves not only as a great place for friends gathering, but also for family dining. Food price is reasonable, ample of choices. Soft Shell Crab Salad and Tom Yum Chicken Katsu Ramen are some of our recommended dishes. You can also find Ramen Ten in KLIA2 Arrival Hall, Ikano Power Centre Mutiara Damansara, Cyberjaya and Seremban2 Uptown Avenue.
