Le Lapin Cafe at Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur has been in our coffee places list for long, finally get to visit this little, cozy cafe one Saturday afternoon.
The cafe is much smaller than expected, about 10 tables that sit 4 each will easily fill up the place. Definitely not the commercial type of coffee place, but we enjoy the coffee aroma permeated in the air once we stepped in, seeing skillful barista brewing coffee with full passion in ease.
Minimal decorations to keep the entire space clean and simple, dressed with huge rabbit mural, colourful furnitures and lots of natural lights flows in to add some lively elements.
Le Lapin Coffee Ice Cubes RM12.00
Signature milk coffee in Le Lapin that has warm milk pour over iced cube coffee, resulting in milky, velvety smooth texture, ideal for a hot afternoon.
We were lucky to meet Spacebar Coffee during our visit, having Le Lapin X Spacebar Coffee Menu to spice up the weekend. We picked Coffee Platter, a combination of mini white and mini black with Cascara tea palate cleanser.
We were served with Jaffa blend – 60% Indonsian, 30% of Guatemala La Perla and 10% Kenya Gituto, custom blend by local roaster, Sprezzatura Coffee.
As highlighted by experts, in black, expect orange, pomelo or cane sugar sweetness, followed by a nice long finish.
In white, guest will discover chocolate sensation with a hint of orange skin.
Food in Le Lapin Cafe focuses on light meals such as cakes, muffins, scone, Baked Eggs with Mushrooms & Cheese, Banana & Muesli Cinnamon French Toast, croissant, etc. Tortilla pizzas at Le Lapin is another highlights, putting toppings of Ham & Egg/ Avocado & Egg/ Plain Cheese/ Mixed Mushroom on thin crust.
