Ulam-Ulaman Desa section goes classic with Pucuk Petik, Pucuk Gajus, Ulam Raja, Petai, Jering, Daun Selon, Tenggek Burung, Daun Pegaga, Bendi Rebus, Terung Rebus and Petai Rebus. Have together with Sambal Belacan, Sambal Bacang, Sambal Belacan Nenas, Sambal Belacan Binjai, Sambal Tempoyak, Sambal Cencalok and more.
Continue with main dishes that feature an array of Kambing Dhalca dengan Sayuran, Pajeri Nenas, Stir Fry Prawn with Salt and Chilli Pepper, Stir Fried Prawns and clam with Asparagus in Belachan, Sauteed Fish with Szechuan and Asparagus, Roasted Chicken Percik Terengganu, Telur Itik Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Sotong Masak Lada Hitam and Ikan Sembilang Masak Lemak Tempoyak.
We found the Telur Itik Masak Lemak Cili Padi something interesting, having silky smooth duck egg braised in a bed of tumeric, coconuty gravy. A very simple dish that shines among many other herbs & spices loaded delights.
Satay is good too, especially the chicken version. Generously skewered with huge chunks of meats and deliver a juicy, meaty, sticky sweet result.

Get the friendly staff to offer you pieces of tender Tandoori Chicken with Youghurt and Indian Spices, then hop on to pots of Indian dishes adjacent to it. Squid Masala, Lamb Masala, Bhendi Masala all appear to be red hot, taste bud tickling for sure.
Fill your bowl with Shanghai Noodles, Kway Teow, Yellow Mee or Wantan Noodles alongside with prawns, squid, chicken, beansprouts, mushroom, vegetables, meatballs, then drenched with Mee Bandung, Nyonya Curry Laksa, Tom Yum Soup or Clear Chicken Soup for a bowl of delicious, soupy local delights at “Kaunter Mee”.
At the same counter, diners can opt for Marinara or Carbonara Pasta. We skip this, as the choices are too basic to impress.
Western fares such as Braised beef short rib with mashed potato gratin and natural braising juice, Oven baked sea bass with chick pea, spinach and tomato-bisque sauce Beef Lasagna are available too.
Toss up some juicy, crispy fruits such as jambu, jambu batu, cucumber and papaya with Rojak sauce, add a dash of crushed peanuts. Too full to try this out, but our friends had few helpings of this, so we believed the Rojak sauce tastes good.
The choices seem endless, and is all around the restaurant. Japanese corner serves up varieties of Tamago Nigiri, Crabmeat Nigiri, Inari and Maki brimming with maguro, tamago and cucumber.
Enjoy steamboat or “lok-lok” experience with choice of kangkung, mushroom, beancurd, fish cake, crabmeat stick, sausages, fishballs, beancurd sheets and wantan on skewers. Boil them in the hot pot, flavoured up with a dip of chilli sauce and sweet sauce.
Stalls at the entrance presents a selection of Char Kuey Teow, Seafood Fried Rice, Apam Balik, Keropok Lekor, Deep Fried Banana, Deep Fried Tapioca and Ice Kacang. Not to forget is the Assam Pedas Melaka that lends a spicy aroma as we pass by, drawing us to order a bowl.
After savouring all dishes from different counters, finally it’s time for dessert. Chocolate Tiramisu, Semolina Cake, Sweet Corn Pudding, Apple Strudel, Vanilla Creme Brulee, Cococnut Mango Jelly Cake, Strawberry Cheese Tart and Lemon Meringue Roulade from French pastries counter seems promising.
Trays of local Nyonya Kuih such as Seri Muka, Kuih Talam, Onde Onde, Pulut Inti, Kuih Kochi, Kuih Lapis, Pulut Seri Kaya, donuts, Kuih Ketayap, etc. extends the dessert selection.
