The place that serves sinfully delicious pork dishes is now open for teatime! is time to power up the sleepy afternoon with more pork!
Sanbanto has been around the town for quite a few years, slowly gaining names for their real good porkilicious dishes as well as fresh cut meat lined on counter, all kept between 0 to 4 degrees to maintain freshness. Sanbanto has their own pig farm, which is also the first and the only ISO 22000 certified pig farm in Malaysia.
In order to provide safer, healthier and more hygiene pork, Sanbanto runs on a complete chain of farm to table concept to ensures that all dishes serve to diners are of highest quality. The name Sanbanto sounds Japanese, even the interior can’t run out of Japanese atmosphere. A further talk with the management, only to know that Sanbanto is actually a place name in Johor, which is also where Sanbanto’s farm located. Interesting.
Sanbanto used to close in afternoon, but now they have extended the operating hours, opening from morning till night. So during the afternoon time, they have come out a range of tea time set, priced only at RM13.90++ with a choice of tea or coffee. Portion isn’t huge, but just right so that you won’t be feeling too full by the time dinner reach.
Yakiniku Tortilla
Juicy tender pork slices braised in Yakiniku sauce, rolled in tortilla and deep fried to golden brown. Crunchy outside, firm and chewy inside, a good snack to nibble on.
Boiled Egg and Ham & Cheese Open Sandwich
This open sandwich is simple, with sliced boiled egg layered on multigrain bread, topped over with pickled cabbage, honey glazed ham & cheese. Recommended for those who likes to keep their teatime with really light and clean flavours.

Scrambled egg, spinach and bacon bits in a basket
Filled with spinach simmer in cream, the filling goes creamier with scrambled egg and parmesan cheese, all nestled within a crunchy basket. A good pairing of creaminess and crispiness.
Scrambled egg and cheese & Pocolina on Mini Croissant
Reaching here, we both agreed that Sanbanto is really creative in making varieties for the teatime set. The mini croissant stuffed with scrambled egg and cheese is enjoyable, plus the Po.co.li.na, which is Sanbanto pork made to taste like tuna make this snack worth trying.
Apple & Pork Tart
Fresh apple and pork cooked in fragrant spices, a sweet and savoury match that generates a balance with the puffy soft pastry.
