Our stay in Cyberview Resort & Spa is not complete without dining in Verandah Coffee House, a Pan-Asian theme restaurant destined to offer a truly unique dining experience within this luxury resort.
Verandah Restaurant unfolds the new look and concept of its dining experienece, offering a divine selection of cuisines from different parts of the world to cater the most discerning palate.
The whole restaurant is cozy, spacious with high ceiling, wooden timber floorings, clear pane glass windows and dark wood furnishing. One can choose to sit indoors, or outdoors overlooking the pool, lay back and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The restaurant can accomodate up to 220 guests, not including an additional 40 in the private room. The private dining room shocases a striking view of lush green and the natural style fishpond outside through the French windows, offering a prefect destination for private parties from twenty to forty guests.
In this relaxed atmosphere, served a myriad of cuisine from Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai , Malay and Western cuisine for breakfast, lunch and buffet daily. We had our lunch and breakfast there during our stay, and had to say that we especially love their breakfast selection.
For lunch, we were spoiled with a wide array of food from chicken rice to roti canai, sambal sotong, curry chicken, seafood porridge, stir fried taufu in vegetables and minced meat, fried rice and prawn curry.
Chicken katsu was great, with crispy outer layer complementing the tender meat locked with juiciness. Prawn curry was fair in taste though, same goes to the sambal sotong.
Nevertheless, we liked the curry noodles, a bowl of noodles gracefully soaked up with the flavours of red hot curry, topped over with vegetables, fish cake, bean sprouts and boiled egg. Mouthful of rich spiciness.
We saved some room for some local Nyonya kueh as well as delightful desserts such as scones, bread pudding, chocolate cake, cheese cake, fruit tarts, Opera cake and lemon meringue tart.
On next morning, we came across exciting choices of breakfast, where we found “East meets West” cuisines from the buffet line. We could opt for egg done our way such as scramble egg, ommelette and sunny side up. We got ourselves double sunny side up, then paired them with mashed potato, baked beans, bread and sausages to form a platter of hearty big breakfast. #Satisfying greedy.
Apart from that, the girl filled the plate with local delights such as nasi lemak with rendang chicken and roti canai with dhal sauce, while the girl had a bowl of tummy warming porridge to warm up the early stomach.
For light choices, there was also salad section with about 10 choices of dressings, breads, danish, muffins, doughnuts, cereals, coffee and tea.
So, if you have not yet discovered the place, is the time to pay Verandah Restaurant a visit with your family, colleagues of friends for buffet, or innovative ala carte menu.
